Characters

okay so first things first, im not new, i just dont post much, i check the site all the time so dont yell at me.

my friend told me that you can have a character, say lvl 20 lilith (which i do) and dont want to use anymore but you have anaother character that you are currently using, say a lvl 26 roland, and you can transfer experience from the one that you dont use to the one you do. i know that was worded terribly so here and example

 I was reading into some of the borderlands characters backstories and i noticed an interesting connection. The Character Mordecai, or the hunter class, apparently came to Pandora in search of a man from his past named Demosthenes,  who Mordecai learns is dead. Now in Greek history Demosthenes was a great orator who took his own life instead of being captured by the Macedons whom he had spent his whole life trying to unite his people against.

Could there be some sort of similar story behind Borderland's Demosthenes? Read more »

Trying to sniff out the backstory of the game.  Conspiracy theory time! :-D

I think all of the characters have, in one way or another, been influenced by the aliens of this game.  Whether or not the ties are greater than what we know remains to be seen, but I think something's out there (cue X-Files theme).

The motivation shared by all the characters is the legend of the vault of alien tech.  Anyone who manages to find it is going to be very, very rich.  Greed: the usual motivation for adventurers of all types and genres. :-) Read more »

 Is anyone actually going to play as her because I personally think she is the coolest class?

i am pretty that every gameplay, footage and whatever we have seen were 4 players coop. every player had a different character, but is it possible to have something like four Brick in a game??

Your first skill point is earned at level 5. (45 spendable points -1 for starting skill)

You can skip tiers if you put enough points into a specific tree.

So in other words In any specific skill tree:

 To unlock tier 2 put 5 points anywhere under that specific tree

 To unlock tier 3 put another 5 points (10 total) anywhere under that specific tree

 To unlock tier 4 put another 5 points (15 total) anywhere under that specific tree
