Need to level up quickly!

Okay, I just got Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition last month, I downloaded 
all of the free downloadable content, but I need help with leveling up. Right 
now, I'm a level 14 Soldier and leveling up like only 1 level every 1-2 days, 
and it's becoming exhausting. I've gotten the car, so now I just run over 
enemies, it may be quick killing, but not quick leveling. I need ideas for how 
to get alot of experience quickly. I'm doing all of the challenges that I can, 
but it's time consuming, and not really helping me all that much.

1.       Do quests- all of them! This one may seem obvious, but the nearest well for experience is that local quest board.
2.       Get your higher-level friends to power level you. Have them host a game and start at the Eridian Promontory. Join in and sit back while they run ahead and kill enemies- you’ll tear through levels in no time.

 how is experience spread in co-op

if i kill a spider and is the experience given to all party members, or is it based of damage done, or what?

 I have yet to play the game with anyone else. 

I was waiting for a friend to buy it  before I started over with anew character so I can have a balanced team.

 

Because of this I my gamercard says that by level 27, I had more than 8x as many kills/weapons than the people on my friendlist who play in 2-4 person teams. These people are <10 levels away from me also.

Do you share all experience gained from team play? (i.e.-missions, all kills, etc..)

Group leveling

I was just wondering if you are playing multiplayer do you share exp and level at the same time. Like if i were to solo something, would the whole team get exp even if they didnt do anything to help kill him?

 I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before but, what is the level cap on this game? But more importantly, how difficult will it be to level in the later stages? Will it take ages to level? Or will the level cap be simple to reach? I hope it will take ages to reach the level cap, i'd hate to do it in a few days or so...Again i'm sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks xD
