The Other Important News... BL 1.30 Update

Oh, not only do we get the sweet new DLC tomorrow, but we're also getting the 1.30 Borderlands update tomorrow too! For 360 anyways. Friday for PS3 and PC.

MODDERS BEWARE

I was searching through the official Gearbox Forums and I noticed this interesting little bit of information. These two lines will drastically change the online community:

"issue: Users are able to manipulate item data to create modded items that are usable in the game
status: A fix has been found for this issue and is pending deployment"

Now, whether this means they've found a way to eliminate modding or not, something is going to be changed. Read more »

Borderlands PC Patch 1.0.1 Released

Gearbox released PC update 1.0.1 tonight. If you purchased the game through Steam or Direct2Drive, you don't need to do anything. The game will update automatically. If you went old-fashioned and purchased a retail copy in a store, you can download the patch here. Read more »

Glitch: Achievements

 So while looking at my mission logs and stats. I noticed that I have the '12 Days of Pandora' Checked off, but no achievement. The same goes with '25 Explosive Kills'. Gearbox said for the time being the best thing to do is start a new character if you wanted to unlock those achievements. However, they are are working on patch that should be released soon.  I am no hurry, so I will probably wait. I just thought I would let you guys know.
