xwmstormx is working on porting the Abandoned Base deathmatch map to Borderlands. Very cool stuff since there's been many laments about the limits of Borderlands multiplayer capabilities.  Read more »

Xbox 360 PvP Tournament Semifinals

And onto the semifinal round we go of Borderlands PvP tournament. Just one victory separates these competitors from a shot at eternal glory in the championship.

Henkin, CyanideJay and Rob N Steal bring in a combined 6-0 record. Then there's the curious case of HammerofJustis who snuck through the first two rounds because of opponents eliminated for inaction. Could he be a dark horse surpise? Read more »

Xbox 360 PvP Ladder Round 2

The first round of our inaugural 360 Borderlands PvP tournament has drawn to a close. Many brave battles were fought. Mighty warriors fell. Slightly mightier warriors triumphed.

So in the interest of more fellings and triumphs, it's time for round 2. Same rules as the first round except that now duels will be best of 5.

Gamebattles Ladder

Does anyone know why gamebattles had a ladder for borderlands under xbox 360, but not one for the ps3? This is really bothering me considering I've been looking foward to a PvP system since I got the game. I mean there really isnt much to do once you've reached level 50 except to wait for the latest DLC to come out and beat that in a day. If anyone has any insight please let me know.

Alright so now we have zombies covered. Im feeling good already. now that we have one DLC already announced before release we have to start thinking about a PvP DLC. It has been hinted at by some gbx dev's and they always say that it will be based on community response. I think this is a reminder that future DLC, possibly PvP, will be based on the community's (our) response. soooooo, those of you looking for PvP , like myself, let this be a reminder to let gbx know you want it
