Me and a friend bought Borderlands like 2 weeks ago, and have been playing it everyday on splitscreen since then. Really enjoying the game for gameplay and content -Claptraps ftw- !

We've been through DLC 1 a couple times and yesterday we started DLC 3. Currently 53, we're going for 61 to -try- kick Crawmerax's ass!

Went through entire game with level 3 weapon

I am wondering why on my first co-op playthrough (splitscreen) a skag whelp dropped a level 3 smg (common). I hadn't even fought sledge yet.  with these stats
Name was something like Hellfire with a bunch of numbers n shit
damage 134

1.5 weapon zoom

4x fire

effective against flesh

fire rate 12.5

damage +45%

High Level SMG for Siren

It only requires lvl 26....

I'm now lvl 49...

Are there any better SMG's that do preferably shock or corrosive dmg?

Siren SMG. Find one that beats this?

 So I have checked the first page or two of  the forum and it seems people area really up in arms about the SMG's. Thus far I'm the exact opposite. I'm wondering if anyone has found a non multiplier smg better then this:

 

kka330 violent bruiser

Damage   130

Accuracy   85.0

Fire rate    8.1

+61% dmg

-3% fire rate

 

I have yet to find a better SMG 1/5th of the way through my 2nd play through. Just wondering if anyone has a better one?
