Borderlands competitive multiplayer ideas.

I think we can unanimously agree that Borderlands really got co-op right. It's so much fun to play with friends, especially since you get better loot, more loot, and you have to fight stronger/more enemies. But competitive multiplayer is arguably lacking. Sure, you can duel and enter arenas, but what if there was team- and map-based competitive multiplayer? An interesting thought—matches would be organized around a certain level range (e.g. only players between the levels of 45-50 could join this match), and everyone would start with no weapons. Gunopedia : Level Requirements

Hello.  I realize the gunopedia is a pretty epic undertaking, but I was curious as to whether we might be able to work in a space for the guns' level requirements.  Having played through the game a couple of times (and through the first parts with several characters), I've come across the exact same guns at different levels.  I can't confirm whether it's happened with random loot (though I suspect I may have found identical Terrible Shotguns of different levels) but I know for a fact that it occurs with boss loot -- the unique boss drops don't seem to change (Sledge alwa Read more »
