hello all,

just wanted to get some takes on 2nd playthrough and if it's worth doing before completing all missions on 1st playthrough.  I'm using Mordecai (no surprise, right?) and he's on level 36.  I just "flipped" the game last night, but it felt incomplete.

I'm about to play the first dlc tonight.  thanks all!

my opinion is if you plan on

my opinion is if you plan on putting more time into the game theres no real reason to go finish every last thing unless you get a little OCD about stuff like that and itll annoy you. every single mission is in play2 (even the ones that dont make sense like buying a shield and grenades even though you have them),, so if its because you want to see all the content the game offers youll be able to in play2, plus youll start getting access to WAY better guns in play2, so why hold yourself back from that. if youre playing on console the only reason id go and finish them all are the get the 2 achievements/trophies for finishing every fyrestone and new haven mission, but other than that i cant come up with much to make it worth your while.

Personally I preferred

Personally I preferred playthrough 2 a LOT compared to the first. Somehow the difficulty in playthrough 2 kinda felt like it should've in playthrough 1, if you know what I mean.

Great...thanks for the

Great...thanks for the input.  Play2 sounds more appealing now that you both brought up those points...looting aspect and difficulty is a bit underwhelming (even as I kick major butt).

Something to consider

I beat everything on my first playthrough so that I could kinda get a feel for the game, but there's something special to consider on your second.  When you beat the game again it opens up the 2.5 playthrough where everything goes to level 50, so I actually beat as few of the side quests as possible so that I could go back and do them after everything upgraded.

This way, there's more to do while you're searching for the vastly superior lvl48 weapons.
