to a thirdparty image hosting site like www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com , I would recommend imageshack because making an account is optional. Once uploaded click the insert/edit image button on format toolbar where you select font, bold,etc. of the post you are posting, an image properties menu will come up, add the direct link to your image i.e.  *http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8164/borderlands.jpg* to the line in image properties and hit ok and your picture should show up

i only have a camera on my phone does that matter to you guys you will still beable to read everything but I have around 17 orange guns and 12 or so of the erradian ones

 You mean those seriously warped, modded guns? tsk tsk u should know better... lol j/k I'm NOT berating you, but seriously though if you really *know* this game like some of us more experienced players, we know our weapons and what goes around.  Plus, guns with missing parts (invisible) is a dead giveaway, or red letter abilities mixed up with other weapon classes they certainly do NOT belong and NO there is NO WAY the game would generate it for you because it is NOT in the logic of the randomizer to do so (eg: "Holy crap! It shoots rockets"... is a special red text ability *strictly* for combat or assault shotguns, not for sure exactly which one, but you get the point)

Another way to tell is that when you really get to know the weapons in the game, you may associate certain legendary names with specific weapon manufacturers.  For example, the Invader series of sniper rifles are produced exclusively in the game world by Hyperion.  If you happen to come across an Invader with a different manufacturer listed other then Hyperion, then it is definitely tampered.  The same could be said of all other brand-specific legendaries available in the game: Jakobs: Skullmasher series; Atlas : Chimera series ; S&S : Orion series, etc.

Just to explain a little bit about the 'randomizer' well in the Borderlands world, YES there are 17+ million possible combinations of weapons, but the randomizer also operates under a certain discrete set of 'guidelines' or 'rules' to follow when creating the weapons in the game.  Any weapon that breaks these rules and guidelines is a modded weapon without a doubt.  

BTW your friend may have found them playing online as they could have been dropped by other player(s), but please note that the game engine does not produce such weapons, it is not in the logic.

I know I posted this before but here it is again, this is the most expensive gun I have ever found in the game (Although this is far from being the best gun, or even best revolver for that matter, IMO ROF/magazine size are important considerations). Found in Crimson Fastness at approx. 2.36 AM EST, Jan 20th, Playthrough 2.5, last red chest inside claptrap reward room.
