Announcing MAG Game Guide

A new year. New resolutions we'll probably forget by February. And Borderlands Guide has a new brother.
He looks a bit like BG. But don't worry, the internet will be big enough for both of them.
His name is MAG Game Guide and he'll focus on MAG, the upcoming PS3 shooter.
Why a site about MAG? You told us.
A little while ago, we ran a poll asking everybody what new franchise they were most eagerly anticipating in 2010. MAG topped it (results below).
We're also creating a site about MAG because, frankly, the game looks cool. We made a site about Borderlands because the game was trying something bold and different.
MAG is trying too as well. The game features 256-player multiplayer servers. It has the potential to be pretty mindblowing. Or it might crash and burn. MAG Game Guide will let you know.

I'll join when I get home, I will attempt to join the open beta for mag today and I have it preordered so I'm ready to play :D

Got on during the beta a bit
Got on during the beta a bit today. Server's were a bit overloaded for a while but then they restarted them. To be honest, better than I expected. Not a run and game. From what I played, seems like a title that really rewards players who work together and use tactics.

Yeah, and the scale of these
Yeah, and the scale of these battles are very impressive. Sure I don't have a mode that allows 246 player matches(yet) but there is a lot of players in the Sabatoge(i think it's called) match type and its pretty hectic. I chose the S.V.E.R. faction since they are the most kick ass in my opinion, and damn it they need members! I noticed that Valor and Raven have well over 5000 and S.V.E.R. has less than that, which is surprising since they seem like the faction most people would love. The funny thing is though is that S.V.E.R. is kicking butt so far for me, since almost every match I joined(minus two, damn that Raven >_<) was a victory so far XD.
