not saying it's coming, but imagine if they added another digit to the cash-counter, fixed the dupe cheat (instant save after item drops), and added an auction house. you could buy/sell anything to anyone! anyone with me? i mean they already have a bank, why not an auction house? and good loot could get you more money. even without the auction house, an extra digit and fixing the dupes would make the game much better.

I kind of wish
I kind of wish modifying/duplicating items was not possible in Borderlands. Mass duping of pearlescent items is happening whether pure gamers like it or not - in other words, pearl items are not so rare anymore. And if anyone didn't expect that to happen, then they are definitely fooling themselves.... had the saves all moved client side this would not be an issue and in my opinion, would make items MUCH MORE valuable and earnable. Whats the point if you always join a game and everyone is using premium items because their friend was more then happy to duplicate their entire arsenal for them? What value are the guns then? Valuable yes, but the whole aspect of rarity is completely thrown out the window. Too bad, it could have really been a better game, in my opinion.

you shouldn't be able to dupe is what i'm saying. it would make things more valuable and rare. and then with an AH you could sell things to people who need it at a good price instead of selling to a vendor for a crap price

Non Sens, With that new DLC
Non Sens, With that new DLC you get to the Max in no time by selling what you don't need so everyone would be able to buy it, even with 2 more digit to it just Farm the Armory and collect useless 9 Millions $ Guns and that's it. It would be worst than the actual Trade/Dupe system !
Duplicating is often used for trade or help someone you know.
Rare it would be by having a non Duplicating system but Valuable ??? What can be Valuable if it cannot be exchangeable to something ??? What's worth a dollars if it stays in your wallet til you're dead ???
The Share Trade Dupe is part of this game since the beginning, it is there so that your group can be balanced...
+ Don't listen to a guy who make his own weapons and has many friend giving him the best weapon...

It's not there so your group can be balanced, it wasn't even supossed to be there. And something can still be "valubale" even if its $ value dosen't matter.

Well I don't know for the American version of the game, but in French when the game is loading it's says "Share your Loot so you're Allies can fight Better", so anyway since the start of the game the Share at least was intended. I stand on my position as for the Value of something, it is useless if stays in the same hand.
Why such a system when you can duplicate Items ?
