Borderlands on the PC - Dealing With The Delay
I personally like fps' on the PC which is why I have Borderlands pre-ordered on Steam. But I'm not sure what what I'm going to do when the 360 people get it on the 21st. I know if I look up Borderlands information anywhere I'll get flooded with stuff and spoilers that I want to play the game to see, but I'd have to wait five days to do so
What are other people that are in my situation going to do?
Thanks for spoiling for us that do care, asshole.
I'm going to download the game so I'll probably have to wait 1-2 days more than console owners. And those days I'll probably just play something else
I'll be thinking about Borderlands the entire time and loathing the console owners. But on a more serious note I'll probably just play something else to distract me until the 26th...not sure what game though :\
honestly if you dont want spoilers then dont get on gameplay forums..
I pre-ordered it too on Steam. I'm hoping Gamefly pulls through and gets me the 360 version to hold me over till the 26th! But usually they are horrible about getting you your games if they're brand new. Hoping for the best though!

It's less that I don't want spoilers but there will be tons more videos and articles and I'm not sure I'll be able to take in all of it, like sensory overload, but I'll feel like I'm missing out if I don't, but yeah I'll probably have to immerse myself in another game until the 26th...

I don't mind if a lot of stuff get spoiled for me as a PC gamer playing after the XBox and PS players. That info is going to help me plan ahead and not waste time and efforts on mistakes.
I mean, I already know killing Nine-Toes will give me a rare repeater pistol and spawn his two pet skags, Digit and Pinky.
Ultimately, reading about it and seeing vids and screenshots is very different from actually playing the game.
