"Borderworlds"

So word out is that GearBox snagged the trademark for "Borderworlds" which I'm guessing we can all safely assume it will be the title of our highly awaited sequal! Having the name change to worlds really catches my eye thinking their game is about to get a LOT bigger than what it already is.

Giving it multiple planets
Giving it multiple planets would cause the game size to swell up like crazy, especially if every single planet is explorable and has the size of Pandora. Finishing playthrough 1 of Borderlands + all DLC already frustated some players, I can't imagine having a game that big...

i think what its like is supposed to be like metroid prime 3, theres different worlds that are pretty big, but not to big and some are hardly anything

I love all these great ideas
I love all these great ideas for the sequel but i dont want the ideas all just thrown in. I would love to see them keep the story or atleast something to do with the vault. I would hate it to be a whole diffrent main quest with no relevence to the previous... does anyone agree?

Yeah I agree, It would be alot better with some cohesion with the main storyline. Theres plenty of off story missions that enable people to obtain cool stuff. I don't think there's an issue with people wanting to do whatever they want in game cause thats exactly what you can do.
