Can I Continue? Please Help.

First off, I joined an online game and then when I went back to single player, I had a ton of missions in my mission log that I shouldn't even have right now. But that's sort of off topic. I've reached level 50 on play-through 2 and I think thats the highest I can go until 2.5, so should I leave the rest of those missions alone, then finish the game and go to 2.5 or do them and see what I can get out of them? Also, I just beat Rakk Hive, so I'm that close to finishing.

I went ahead and did a few side missions and soon I will be doing the mission with the queens abdomen so that i can get the Patton Revolver . As for Earl's best friend, that one ended up getting me killed by a Badmutha Fire Spiderant. So your saying that if I go rescue Tannis, she won't be in her cell? I'll try my best to find someone who is possibly a few missions away, but I have to beat Baron Flynt. Do you think you might know why the missions would glitch when you go online with other people?

Well I don't exactly know for Tannis but for the armory it is because doing it the way it should you arrive in a room that is designed to check one of the quest mark, then since the others armory quests have the same quest mark it understand to check them as well...

New Problem
I went out and got myself a PSN card to get the DLC. I got the Underdome and Knoxx. When I went through my missions to see what i had left, I ended up getting all the missions for the DLC's. What in the world is happening, Am I going to have to start on a new character or what?

Even playing online with a LvL61 it sounds hard to believe. I can't imagine that not having the DLC's and end up with DLC quests saved in your file (because you got them playing with someone online that has already finish them) could activate them once you play it the first time ??? It could be the answer but it's the first time I hear about something like that.
Are the Quests to be done or are they done already ?
If they're not done yet no problem, just do it ! Appart from the armory : NEVER DO ANY OF THOSE ARMORY QUESTS (SINGLE OR ONLINE), EVER ! Keep it to farm it.
Once you'll be LvL61 just play the DLC in playthrought one to get the "All Quest Done" Success from Knoxx and the 3 arenas from Moxxi ;)

This is what's going on
I've gotten Moxxi and Knoxx. When I went into T-bone Junction for the very first time, I had every mission including Cramerax. I didn't get them from online play. One thing that concerns me about that is that I might accidentally do a mission I shouldn't be doing so I might have to do missions, then after I finish them, turn them all in. Also There are 2 missions for the Armory, does it matter which one I do the glitch on because I don't won't to mess them up.

What I'm saying is that before getting those DLC you certainly play the Main game online with someone who already done all those DLC quests. It might have saved it and hide it till your very first step into those DLC... But that's just a guess, as I say I never heard anything like that.
For the Armory Quest it doesn't matter (same Quest Mark, Same everything) just go there and glitch it right away, but never complete the Quest cause then the 2 Quests will be bugged and you'll have no chance to back there again...
After that all Quests to my knowledge are free from glitch problem...

Yeah I know
I showed my brother how to glitch it and he went mad crazy on the place and screwed it up badly.
An update I was able to find people online yesterday and I beat the game last night no problems at all.

I'm so mad
I was playing online and they were at the armory, so I thought it would be cool to glitch. Then 2 other people follow me and one of them went into the circular room. Since I also had both missions, playthrough 2 is completely over since he ruined my farming. God, I'm so freaking pissed (excuse my language). I guess some people can't control themselves when it comes to treasure. What do you recommend I do know. My brother said to just start the game all over again and to do it with the soldier, but I'm really getting tired of Skag Gully. He also said once I get the second character up to the level my current character is, just transfer all of the weapons to my new guy. I just hate the fact that I have to start over. I think the only way i could still farm for guns is if I go into a match with some one who has the mission uncompleted.
You should be a bit more than the half of the game. The biggest problem you're going to have is the Tannis Quest, it often happen, The quest ask you to find Tannis, but when you're in front of where she should be she isn't... So you'll have to find someone online who didn't do the quest yet and do it again with him.
Appart from that glitch you can do all the quests that you've got.
Playing Borderlands online brings many glitched quests, so I would advise to only play with people you are sure that has the same quests as you have in single player. If you get Knoxx be very careful with the Armory Quests, being online you can get the 3 of them at once, and once one is done the 2 others will be bugged ! Therefore you'll loose all your chances to go back there and especially to farm it using the glitch at the entrance.
A last advice : Play the game with at least 2 characters and keep one for single player only, so that if you have a problem online your second character will be there with no bug...
