I got some ideas
I don't know if you tryed this but:
what i always did was, you go to the opposite side of where you start ( above that big door enemies come through) its a good vantage point. There's 2 corners to hide in from most fire and only enemies coming up the stairs can get you.
It's sort of up to you though where u walk up and around there because it depeneds where the enemies are and where they respond and stuff like that. Even if it takes one enemy at a time and than going back to hide for ur shield to regenerate the job does get done.
but yeah anymore questions
