WHAT THE FUCK!
I had a level 61 Siren, with level 50 prof with every weapon (even eridian), a peral sheild & a peral caustic launcher, and NOW MY FUCKING GAME DATA IS CORRPUTED!
I also had the +2 find rare item!
WHAT THE FUCK!!
Anyone else fucking choked with this bullshit happening to them?
I already this happen with 2 level 50 hunters!
I am begginning to think "Fuck Borderlands", and am thinking of buying Metro 2033.

i dunno....
Borderlands is the ONLY game I have ever had this problem with. And considering how much time went into that save, I doubt I will level another siren up to 61.
Also I am playing Borderlands on PS3 (as online play is free), but metro2033 is only for 360, so I know I will not have the same problem.
I just wanna know if it is any good. I know it cannot touch fallout or borderlands, but it might be rad?

and how does a usb or external fix this problem? If it is a matter of just backing up my saves, you as a french citizen should already know that as a north american, I am far to lazy to do this.

Can't be Lazier than me ;). Do some test with a Memory card save your game and try it on an other Xbox ? Did it just erase your character ?

it didn't erase anything, I just try to load my siren, and it says "data corrupt". I have also had this happen twice with my lvl 50 hunter, and my hunter is currently 61.
so in total, my hunter should be level 161 :p
I still have my lvl 61 soldier, but my siren was rad, and I have NO desire to play as brick.

That's weird... I don't know how it works but I am sure that you can check the Data of your saved file on a PC, with willowtree I guess.

i do not have a solution for the save game problem,, but i will tell you metro 2033 is an excellent game. i picked it up release day and thoroughly enjoyed playing it. however that being said its an 8-10ish hour story focused game,, so unless you REALLY REALLY love the story its not going to replace borderlands in your library as a game you can continually come back to and play over and over, its more like a bioshock where youll play it and if you like it probably throw it back in every 6 months or so to relive the experience as opposed to borderlands which is put together in such a way to warrant playing it multiple times.

The corrupt data fix is easy. Get the latest ver. of Willowtree and level up your character right up from 1 to 61. Give yourself the skills points/proficiencies and rebuild the weapons/items you lost.
I did this with a Lvl 50 Hunter I lost due to data corruption. Now I save my game on a memory stick every time I go online.
Incidentally, I don't have time for gaming any more. Career/business related matters are pressing and therefore gaming is on the very low list of my priorities right at the moment.

im sick of this games data corrupt it was level 61 nearly all proficiency my fav charachter gone forever im never playing borderlands again
Well Metro 2033 is an other game that you can't compare to Borderlands, so forget it !
If you're data are corrupted then it is a matter of hard drive or USB key...
If the problem still here it probably be the same with that game you're talking about, then Fuck Metro 2033 and all the games that will have this problem !!!
