Cramerax Stiffed Me!

The stupid lobster stiffed me. After six successful attempts at killing craw with three other people, I only picked up TWO weapons and a slow healing shield. The rest I left for a lvl.46 soldier to have. Yes I have a level 61 siren with a catylst mod of +2 rare find with 3 other players having a similar mod, but it just didn't work out that great. Maybe it wasn't my lucky day. I dunno. I wanted to bring this if anyone had experienced anything similar to what has happened to me. If not, please do tell what equipement you had on at the time.

Some random math on the runs...
I have killed Crablegs a total of 189 times.
Out of those runs, there was only a total of 9 pearl weapon drops (as far as I am aware)
In the long run and % chance of drops of pearl items, the odds are about less then 5%....

I believe that Frank because its not a cumulative probability - what I mean by that is the chances of a pearl drop is completely independent of any previous runs. The vast majority of the runs will not produce a single pearl. I think I mentioned before on one of my previous runs, I saw Crawmerax drop TWO pearl items at once - no lie. I haven't even heard of anyone report that either, that is so ultra rare to happen.
The last 50 or so runs has produced no pearls by the way.....

I have killed Crawmerax
I have killed Crawmerax almost 300 times now and have only ever had 10 pearls drop so... like a 1/30 chance on average for me

Harana: I have yet to see a pearl drop from it. Not that I'm saying it's impossible but the only way I've gotten pearls is from cloning. Maybe I might have better luck looting with you. You free thursday/friday night?

Havent you had tricky issues
Havent you had tricky issues of distinguishing the blue color out of the cyan of pearlscent? knowing that cyan is slightly brighter than blue color, and that pearlscent is rare, I've been anxious about this fact and staring at some blues and wondering if they might be cyan
you people, haven't got the same thing or have you?
I've had very poor drops on Crawmerax, at times. Last night, one fight netted me 2 equalizers and that was about it. Mostly I just sold the stuff off just because I didn't need it and it keeps the battlefield from lagging up since having a ton of weapons typically makes it impossible to fight Crablegs well.
So yeah, sometimes I take off the Catalyst just to see if I can get better look. Doesn't really play too big an effect. Usually still end up with a lot of cruddy equalizers, so it's not a huge difference.
