Do you ever stay awake at night looking up at the moon and thinking to yourself, "I wonder if GB will put an unlockable or cheat in the game that allows you to play the game in it's original art design,"? Because i have. well with out the moon gazing part, but i have wondered that lol. as well as possible cheats or unlockables for the game.
What do you think?

Old art....
Well, I don't know about that. For one, I doubt they'll put any cheats into this game, considering it's online, and would give you an unfair advantage.
But think about if they did put a cheat in to revert all the graphics to the old style. In a game as MASSIVE as Borderlands, you'd probably be sitting there for like an hour waiting for it to load and render. :p

Considering that Borderlands is taking alot of influence from Diablo 2, most likely if there is a cheating system implemented there will be an "open or closed" setting for online games. Anyone who has played Diablo 2 rememberes that there was two types of online play: Closed, where you played through the game as you would normally, or Open, where it was a hackers paradise; you could do anything you wanted as long as it wasn't stealing others accounts.
Another guess is that if you use cheats, saving/online play/achievements would be disabled.
It seems most likely, however, that there will be no cheats, as almost no games contain cheats anymore.

Fuck the cheats... but the
Fuck the cheats... but the old art style thing seems cool, although it would make the game some thing like twice bigger.

i hope no cheats, and i can garuntee they wont put the old style in because its not like the game was finished when they changed over, so alot of things they made in the new style were never made in the old style, which means they would have to make those seperatly. and besides, the new style is better...

I hope for no cheats as well. But that's not mentioning that the old graphic's cheat would be nigh impossible. They'd have to re-render EVERYTHING in the game. That would basically double the storage that the game would need, and double the man/hours needed to make it. So, while that would be awesome, it's not happening.

they should have one level
they should have one level with the old art style, like a flash-back kinda.
id be cool to play in the origanol art, but as far as cheats, the only ones that i can see people actually using are ones that let you get more skill points to completly upgrade, your skills, and guns codes that let you get any of the 17 milion guns, but who would want to do that. it takes all the fun out of the game.
but back at the origanol art, i dont think they'd do that cuz for one the new art is better, and it would make no sense at all except for the one or two people that think the new art makes the game look like a retarded cartoon. i remember on person saying so on i think the ign forums, or somewhere, his name was like ranger[insert big number here]. or something like that
