what if Borderlands comes out and it epic fails i mean i thought too human was going too be awesome but it turned out like sh**

Then we'll find some other game to hyperventilate for a while. Getting excited about the game is half the fun for me.
Besides, I think all indications are that this will be at least a decent game.

Yeah, I know that feeling
Yeah, I know that feeling very well.
You know that game FUEL? The big, 5,000 square mile map. I was looking forward to it for months. But then the reviews came in. Then I played the demo shortly afterward. Bouncy physics, bad controls, virtually nothing to do but drive around, but it looked nice.
There wasn't even that much content in it. All the cars felt the same.
But as for Borderlands, I have no doubts. Whenever Randy talks about Borderlands, his face just lights up. So brightly that you can stick him on top of a lighthouse to guide the ships. He's been at the game for a long time and Gearbox seems to be having fun with it still, rather than getting sick of it. They got it.

Yeah
I don't have any real worries about Borderlands. The game just seems like awesome fun, and I haven't seen anything gameplay wise that would tell me otherwise.

Don't worry
I think borderlands won't fail as it can appeal to a broad range of people. Obviously you have both RPG and FPS. Also for people who enjoy playing with others there is a strong emphasis on online multplayer. I have personally got 3 friends who are buying the game and by chance all want to be different characters so it's going to be awesome.

Frankly if you have doubts like this in your mind, then just forget about getting the game. because if you you'll find something that's not even wrong with and complain, so save us the agony and get rid of the doubts.
P.S. Not being an ass, just saying. This game is way to awesome to have doubts about it.

Its fine to have doubts i think. I had the same thing happen to me with Too Human too and look at what a glitchy p.o.s that game turned out to be. If you have doubts wait until it comes out and see what ppl say. personally i have no doubts and i think this game is just going to be the start of Borderlands kicking the game industry on its ass.

From the videos, people had fun with it. I've checked out the demo of Too Human, which doesn't look anything like Borderlands. They probably got the loot system nailed down, but the gameplay was just chaotic and dying yielded no real punishment.
They had 2-3 years with this game, and it's Gearbox. It'll be good.
