Four Character Classes
I'm just doing my duty...and Guide, you may want to repost this as you see fit, because you do a great job of reporting the going-ons. But, HellFace just posted "Four Character Classes". 3 Characters, 4 classes? Hmm.
Ah. Looks like HellFace took the post down. Alas, I did not copy it and whatnot. Although, he DID say something along the lines of "With four character classes to choose from, it's important to see the sillouhette of your friends in the heat of battle"
He didn't say "heat of battle" but that's mostly correct. Crappy time to go to bed, Guide!
Woot we got our first under the radar comment from the devs. :D and look how many devs are on the forums now.
Thanks guys. Great catch. Don't have time to write a full post now but hopefully tonight.
The 4th class is a grizzled french chef, embittered from a long standing rivalry with the local Japanese merchants, he must collect the arsenal necessary to allow his business to dominate! See his aventure in all it's animu glory!
Master Chef?
Master Chef indeed.
Doesn't Street Fighter 4 have a chef/warrior dude? El Fuerte! The Luchador/crappy cook! Wait, just caught something....Hellface is a gearbox dev? There has to be something to the whole thing about needing to "see the silhouette of your friends" thing that hints to the nature.
Wait.........actually, come to think of it thats not news at all. Mordecai is a sniper, Rolands the soldier, and Lilith is a siren. Even Game Informer over a year and half ago said that she has 2 forms, the subdued form we see in the teaser that has temporal abilities, and a flipped out psycho version with "untapped" power. I think that unless I am mistaken, shes a dual class character.
Parhaps I'm thinking to lightly of it.
The new article states that Roland was a Jack-of-all-trades, so it isn't crazy to assume the new guy is the Tank/Warrior class.
Look at the pic of Mordecai and the red hair chick. She could be a merchant, but if she is a merchant, why isnt she at a stand of some sort, with the dangers of the enviroment, I doubt that merchants roam by themselves like in Fallout 3. And for that matter, why would there be a chest in a settlement? Looks more like they are looting the chest. Maybe SHE is the mystery person?
Edit* Also, Big Guy on the cover doesnt look REMOTELY like Roland. Perhaps mrs. red hair is one of the npc's that help and Mr. Beefy here is the "Tank" everyone is so convinced exists?

beat me to the punch stealth!
