It is very obvious that we have all been following Borderlands for some time now, and we are all very aware of its presence. But what about all of the people just learning about it? This seems to the the dominant demographic. I visited the Xbox Live Marketplace today to check out what was new. Add-ons? Nothing. Demos? Nothing. Videos? Noth.....huh? Seems that under the "Most Popular" section of the Game Videos tab was not one, but two Borderlands videos. The newest trailer debuted at Comic-con was ranked 5th in popularity and the original teaser trailer released about a year and a half ago was ranked approximately 16th (no easy task considering its age). It is becoming clear that Borderlands is definately getting out to the general public as is being anticipated by the gamer community at large.

I noticed that a couple of days ago. I was very happy to see that. Hopefully it will only keep gaining more attention and popularity.

...

So true. I've been a Gametrailers forum member since early 07, and about 2 months ago the majority of the people had never heard/ forgot about Borderlands. If you come now, most of the members are eager to pick it up when it'll release!

I skimmed through....

I skimmed through the COD:MW2 forum last night and saw a couple of people with Borderlands in their sig's as part of a "Games I'm getting soon" list.

Also, I've been banging on about BL so much that when I came home from work the other night, my girlfriend had bought me a gift because I felt ill (Swine Flu! 4 days of hell!) and sat right there on the table was a copy of 360 Gamer with a rather impressive Borderlands full front page with a shiny silver vault logo to boot!

Seems like things are finally taking off!

Twitter

Yeah, I did a search on Twitter yesterday for Borderlands and was amazed at how many people are talking about it. That prompted me to finally start using the account I registered for this site (http://twitter.com/borderlands).

Thanks Casper

I'll make a front page announcement about it soon, but wanted to get the hang of it first.

I'm making sure to tell everyone I know about it to help spread the word.  Lost count of how many times I've sent the link to the latest Gamespot preview video to people.

You like games then check this out.  :D
