Everything about Borderlands is great but I am really looking for to 650,000 weapons, an open world, and complete freedom to do whatever.Is there anything else about the game any of you are looking forward too or something else that will make you buy the game?If you do get the game which character would you choose?

I cant decide between
I cant decide between Mordicai or Rolland because when I play shooters I always pick two guns:the sniper rifle and and the machine gun,and I would have to pick one or the other. tell me which one I should pick.

You won't have to. All characters can hold four guns, which an be of any class. In the E308 video, the PC used both an Assault Rifle and a Sniper Rifle. Mordecai isn't sniper-exclusive, nor is Roland Assault Rifle/SMG-exclusive. All characters can use the guns; you dictate how effectively they are used. The difference probably lies in the skillsets. Mordecai will have skills augmenting his sniper, while Roland will have skills acting as synergies with whatever weapon classes he's proficient with.

Have to say....
Have to say I'm in it for the co-op play!
Nothing better than cracking a few beers and killing things with your friends, and I've been waiting for a true FPS/RPG to come along that allows you more than 2 players. Suppose the fact that there will be a heap of weapons/armour helps too, just hoping that the level of customization is deep.
Thanks for putting up polls by the BG, the question that's up was the one I was looking for! Not had a minute to myself to ask recently though so kudos for having superior mind reading skills ;)

Thats very good. youre saying that mordicai can use shotguns, but has no skills that pertain to shotguns. I'll still have to make a big choice but this makes it easier.

Not necessarily. He has a skill that boosts the damage done by headshots for the entire party. If you score a headshot with a shotgun, that still counts. Also, all characters become more proficient with weapons the more they are used. Use a shotgun enough and you should be effective with it, even as Mordecai.

please some crossbows
I will love this game if it has crossbow. I think there will be because if there are 650,000 guns, at least one has to be a crossbow
i cant wait for those missions, which i hope wont (and probably wont) end up like the ones in fable2 , wich were repetitions of the same missions all the time( once you finish the game). the 650 000 weapons will be awesome too =D
will NOT play mordecai, but not because he's a skinny weirdo, ive just hated snipers and fail at sniping anyways , so, roland plx
