Just wondering, there are all of these posts on what to do when you get to the Zombie Island as far as the Brains missions and Dr. Ned, but how do you actually make it to the zombie island? I've reached the level cap of 50 on my soldier and I want to go there for the achievements but I can't find it.

Wait,
I thought you actually have to go to a new-u station before being able to access it via the travel station. Does it just magically appear or something? Confused... =/

With the DLC, you don't
With the DLC, you don't actually have to discover the New-U station before travelling to it. It should be at the very bottom of the list of locations when you open the Fast Travel menu. It just automatically shows up after you download and install it.

You do have to buy it first.
You do have to buy it first. Go to the Playstation Store and look for the Add-Ons section. It should be in the section called Disc-Based Game Add-Ons or something like that. Then just find Borderlands, search through the list of games (it should be near the beginning since Borderlands starts with "B"), and buy it. Once it finishes downloading, you have to go to the Game section of the Media Bar and install the DLC. After that, it's game time.

One hell a big issue at the end mission the Main Borderlands.
I've a bit of an issue which really got me huh of the game! going to be as clear as possible.
1 was on the the last mission "find Steele" I crossed my way out throught out the premonitory thing reaching the vault, once with the cinematic that initiates the vault where Steele is at the end of it being killed by the beastie.. got all along up there, then closed my laptop and headed with my family outside.
2-once home, reopened Borderlands, resumed from the main menu and found myself with (-Steele found-) at the left side of objectives and then no Vault key found and that waypoint in the map was leading to a place not accessible (just behind where the beastie was or came out from). And since it says Steele found and asks me to go to that inaccessible place in the map just behind the Vaut actual gate, I might believe that ME closing the laptop at the time and reopening it stuck my game of the following facts:
The beastie got inside in (yet not killed yet)
The Vault key unrecovered and only having in hand half a mission of just ''steele found"
So any help down here, please. I'd appreciate.

Yeah, other people have had
Yeah, other people have had that issue if they turn off their console or quit the game during the cutscene. So far, like FrankWest76 said, the only way to fix it is by playing that mission with someone online. I don't think Gearbox has found a fix for it yet.
You go to a fast travel station and go to Jacobs Cove, its at the bottom of the list.
