Help With Modded Guns

I have tried to create a few guns in the past but can never seem to make them as powerful as the ones in the hall of fame on http://blmodding.wikidot.com/
But most of the guns I try to use on that website don't work. Especially if they dont have a full gun as a picture.
Am I doing something wrong? And what's most likely reason for not being able to make decent guns?

Here i have a web page http://www.zerosubstance.net/borderlands/ there is all the codes for the guns there says, just go to the gun or item section search wat you want, touch on the View more section and then export to Willow Export, open the file in the willow tree and then save the game data with the new gun, many of them work, hope it help
