house/bank/ place to store loot

does anyone know if their is a storage place like a bank or a house you can use to store loot? i would love to be able to buy houses in every city like in oblivion.

question is..
can you hoard guns for your other characters? like a multi-character stash? would be good if you find a godlike sniper let's say on Brick.

Yes
I remember reading in an interview not too long ago that there is a safe that you can store your stuff in. The best part is that it's shared by all of your characters. So if Brick finds a sick sniper rifle you can put it in there log on with your Mordecai character and get it from the safe!

I agree with Soaderek
I'd have to agree with soaderek here, even though a safe connecting all your characters together has its perks, but like soaderek stated, if a group of you comes across an awesome drop, everyone in the group would want it, it would cause so many arguments, "But i need this sniper for my sniper character!" you know what i mean?

i think its one stash per character no sharing.
hopefully there is no limits on how much u can store.
because i plan on gettin a lot of crap. im a collector when it comes to rpgs with tons of loot.

I can see what you mean, with 17 million guns or so, you'd be very lucky to find the same gun again. However, from watching videos and interviews, the loot system is an old fashioned first come first serve system, so basically the first person to get to the loot and pick it up is the person who gets it. I suppose that is fair and it would be interesting to see how the games community will build around it. I hope people will be fair by saying if your preferred and most used gun type are sniper rifles then you should have first dibs to it if it drops.
