I hit *Online* and it freezes?!? (PS3)

I wanted to play online with a buddy, i press x on the online button and the page goes black for a fraction of a second, then nothing, the claptrap dances around but the game is frozen. the same thing happend to my buddy at the same time. has this happened to anyone else? i think it may be a mess up from when the fat ps3's had that resent error code problem. but i donlt know for sure

just you need on line computer support ,then you need to search for right technician
for your computer support
same thing happen to me...this is upsetting i really like the game but it keeps messing up?!
