when i press a on the single player option the screen goes to the character load with the little orange box saying it's laoding, but it freezes there and can't do anything not even open the xbox guide button, please help i want to play again. also i received modded items from someone online and wanted to see the codes for them but after i looked at them this started. i have tried to delete items from save but nothing. does anyone know how to fix?

i have willowtree
First you got to download the new willowtree
Than make sure u ahve a USB or something of the sort and put your saved borderlands file on it
Put the save file on ur computer
Open willowtree than find ur saved data on ur computer and load it
So basically it's up to you to think why your save file is not working. And if it's corrupt than none of this will work.
But if it isnt try deleting ur modded weapons or something of the sort
That's about really it, Hope its not corrupted
Inspect your disc to see if it is not damaged or have some scratch on it.
Try to start the game with a new Character using a non XboxLive Profile, if it works it means your save files are corrupted. Some modded weapons can cause things like this...
I don't know much about WillowTree but apparently you can edit your saved file with it, but someone that knows how it works will have to explain you how.
