I was wondering how gearbox decides to release new info, gameplay etc. Is there some reasoning, like for instance, I haven't seen any new guns in the gunopedia for a pretty long time now. Are they trying to save up the gameplay and info for one big announcement or are they just going to release the game with only dedicated fans interested in it?

I'm going to stay interested becasue I have been following the game, but to people that don't really know the game there isn't too much to draw them in. I feel that e3 was kind of a bust, and they could have gotten way more people excited for the game, I wasn't too interested in modern warfare 2, but now that I've seen the gameplay I can't wait. I just feel that e3 was wasted by a stupid little trailer and an interview of stale info.

I just hope somebody agrees with me

What I really want is more info/video/gameplay!

Frustrating

I've been frustrated at times also with Gearbox's rate of releasing info. I have two main complaints.

1) Gearbox has been talking a bit more to the press over the past couple weeks but there's never actually any fresh information. The same questions are asked, the same answers are given.

2) I've been asking Gearbox for an interview since February. They keep pushing it off.

That said, I'm sure Gearbox has a plan. Why wouldn't they want to tell people about the game? The goal, after all, is to sell as many copies as possible. I'm guessing at some point as the release date nears they'll begin a big push.

Of course Gearbox has to want
Of course Gearbox has to want to appeal to as many people as possible to sell as many copies as possible, but there window of opportunity to advertize and hype the game to necessary proportions is shrinking. If they are infact releasing the game in October, that is only 4 months away. They need to start a big ad push within the next month to month and a half inorder to really grab an audience deserving of the game.
