Borderlands Level Cap Raise Confirmed by Gearbox [Kotaku]
That's right. We're gunna be getting MORE LEVELS! And also, more SCOOTER! And also confirmed is a bug fix update in the works.

... that happen to you too? I'd been playing via my 360. The Disc crapped-out on me only last week (tried copying it to HD etc etc, disc no-worky. require new copy of game I only bought few months ago. ME angy. Me go "Sledge" mad in living room and say "C" word very loud)!!!

Poke: What's being released through DLC? The update to Borderlands that will fix stuff, or the DLC? Because I'd hope the DLC would be released through DLC.
But the Update for the game is just an update like any other. It'll fix bugs and shouldn't be directly dependant on you buying the DLC or not. Because the original post said they were working on the Update and the DLC, which would mean both, but each are seperate.
Either way, this could be the rumored vehicle DLC. Randy mentioned that it might be possible for there to be more vehicles in one of Kotaku's Podcast Interviews, so maybe this is it. I hope they have motorcycles and the Crimson Lance's badass ATC.

I mean the level cap increase and a such things should have been there in the first place. And they want to nickel and dime me for it. I hate DLC.

Ah. Well, you can blame Fallout 3 for that. That's what they did with Broken Steel, give big cool content and increase the lvl cap.
So yeah, it maybe be nickel and dime but it's nickel and dime that I'm willing to spend. It's Borderlands. You know you want to part with your nickels and dimes.

And I hope that fix about Modded guns : No more Modded Guns in Borderlands ! Then I'll have a quick answer to my Chimera that seems legit ;) Too much good news for one day :)

This is just some awesome fucking news, though. I just really hope they don' simply increase the cap without adding new skills or doing something else to keep the game balanced.
