One More Time: Borderlands Will Be Released In 2009

We’ve heard this before but they need to keep reassuring us because they’re being so quiet otherwise. Borderlands publisher 2K told CVG today that the game is still “on the radar” and will be ready for “later this year.”
Amusingly, the whole thing started when CVG reported that they had new Borderlands screenshots. They’re actually from last year.

No. They're probably going to actually open www.borderlandsthegame.com and use a teaser trailer to get some attention of gaming journalists, then use that attention to grab some interviews and whatnot. Reveal trialer will be erleased about 1-2 weeks after the teaser. All of this will be accompanied by more information, screenshots, etc. Oh, and a release date.

I think they're finally starting to open up. There's apparently some Borderlands info in the upcoming issue of PC Gamer and a source tells me that Gearbox will be releasing new info very soon.

I've been dreading the time
I've been dreading the time that has been passing cause I keep expecting to hear it's been canned. Then I would just end up on a rampage. But with the proposition of new info on the horizon, it's almost as if there is hope again. *looks hopefully to the sky*

Anticipation
I don't think I have ever cared about a game as much as I do this one. I have never joined any forums for any other game, I have never been so starved for information on a game either. This has turned into somewhat of a "favorite vice", I love the game, but its to the point where its kinda pathetic if you think about it. We lap up any drop of info we can get. Even a concrete release date (something some developers announce from the get-go) would be a substantial proverbial bone to be tossed our way. No matter tho, I'm havin a blast with this stuff.

Im pretty sure the Best Buy near my house has copies of PC Gamer, ill be sure to see if they got it yet.......which issue would it be? I know, most mags publish one month ahead of time, so would it be the April or May issue? Don't wanna go pick up the wrong issue, ya know?

That seems to be what alot of ppl are doing, we are all so desperate for new info we tend to forget some of the basics and rehash it as new info. Speaking of new info, when Gearbox announced that new info would be released in 3-5 weeks (which should be 2-3 by now), did they mention where or how this would be released? They gonna open there website that been "Under development" since 2007? Another vid? Im kinda curious since there are no developers confrences slated for the time frame they announced.
