Yankee78 I wrote the forum but your right.I shouldnt say it sucks until we see screenshots or something.But come on in my opinion the game would be so much better if they stay with what they had from the start.

Back on topic, I agree with you both. Real graphics are good, but I think this will turn out just as well, and maybe open a completely new graphical style. I think we'll just have to wait and see.

OOT doesn't look great
OOT doesn't look great though. Those graphics were on par with most of the other stuff that was coming out at that time. Better graphics doesn't make killzone better than it, but I wouldn't expect a game that looks like OOT to sell well in today's market.

i know its not cel-shading, but this type of cel-shadedesque art style is revolutionary, i've never seen a game that looked like this, nor any cel-shader, that have nearly as much detail.
I'm excited that Gearbox is going in a totally new direction rather than making a game that could be seen as "just another 3D shooter" to the uninformed mind

and that in my opinion, is a very good thing
