pen Weapon box = Freeze + Black screen

Windows XP 32bits
Ati radeon HD2900 Pro 512mb
Ram : 3Go
Intel core 2Cpu 2.13Ghz

Here is the game works perfectly, The problem is that when I want to open a "weapon box (red)", the game freeze followed by a black screen and require to restart the pc ...


I have the latest drivers 10.2, I try to reinstall the game and nothing.

I have Borderlands 1.30 + All dlc installed. I hope you can help me to solve this problem, its bored of having to pay so much for this ...

I have played the game for more than an hour with all options maxed and praphics card set for optimal quality as long as I never opened that type of crate. I also had it happen on a garbage dumpster once.

It's not a power issue as my power supply is more than I will ever need or use.

It's not an over temp either. I have had GPU-Z running while I play to check temps. I have played for 40 min this way doing 3 missions just never opening the weapon crate on any of them. After the 40 min I ran back to one of them did a little dance around it and alt tabed out to check my temps. 60C was the current temp but it had reached a max of 73C some time during the 40 min. Anyway 60C is nice and cool for the card so I alt tab back into the game, open the chest and bam instant shut down.[/quote]
