The Recipe For A Perfect Borderlands 2
OK, here' s my very simple idea.
1) Keep the class system, however, add a character creator. One that allows you to truly make your own character within Pandora (or wherever Borderlands 2 may take place). That way, you truly can feel unique in an online co-op game with multiple people being your class.
2) Add more vehicle customization, as in decals, paints, logos, etc. (Think the deck creator from the Tony Hawk games but on a vehicle) There is one thing I do not advocate however, and this is gun customization. Gun customization, in my opinion, takes away the want to find the perfect gun for you, looking and working awesome, just how you like it.
3) Add more cutscenes. This is one thing that really bugged me about Borderlands. The only real cutscenes are the ones that showcase the boss fights, which are cool, but I'd rather have one where characters interact with each other and have dialogue together, even if it is minimal.
4) Randomly generated dungeons would make this game have endless hours upon endless hours of fun to be had. If they had stuck with the random generation I really think Borderlands would have a lot more replayability than it already does.
5) Have the ability to have more than 2 playthroughs. One of my main problems with Borderlands is that after you beat the game, there's nothing to do except farm more weapons or start a new character. I always wanted to do all the quests that I had beforehand but with level 50-51 mobs.
That is all that comes to mind right now, I'll probably add on to this later.
Borderlands already does have more than 2 playthroughs. Playthrough 2.5 starts after beating the final plot quest of playthrough 2. It doesn't start your game over, but it make all enemies lvl 50 and above and drops better loot.
It has two playthroughs and then a level scale increase. That's it, no more content or questing. It has two playthroughs.
I want the ability to re-do quests, not just fight enemies.
huh? playthrough 2.5 what the heck i havn even seen any thing relotely like that lol all sweet but more customizations for the vehicles would be handy and fun as well as randomly generated dungeaons like Champions of Norath on PS2
With the character customization, they should add character classes as well so you can create a character, than a class, which would have unique skills per class. sorta like oblivion and many other rpgs.
exactly the more detail they go into with customizations the better the game can be over all due to the uniquness of each character
I think the guns should have a better randomzation. there is a lot of guns in the first one but they also are related to others guns at the same time. Like making the guns more unique to itself tan being a better clone of another gun with slight tweaks. also if it hasnt been said to be able to make your own guns from other parts and the ability to take guns apart and put them back together with diffrent parts...but it has to be a skill you increase...also i like the idea of a character creator. itd make you unique, with my idea your gun unique, and also posted your vehicle unique. it would make it better to go into a party with friends and to see not the same looking people with simlar guns and the same vehicle. itd make everything your own personal creation.
BL2 should basically be what BL1 was before they scrapped all the awesome ideas and features. If they did that, it would absolutely feel like a full-fledged sequel.
hmm yea just some new and inovative ideas

Yep, all that sounds good
