Release Date Speculation

Alright.
We've digressed into picking apart a 10 minute video by seconds for any scraps of information. I know I'm ready for new information, and it's a sure bet that anyone excited for Borderlands is chomping at the bit as well.
So here is my question;
When do you think the next set of Borderlands info will be release? Why you think that, and site quotes if you need to.
For me? Im going to have to say the D.I.C.E. summit here in 3 days i.e. Feb. 19th. Gearbox is up for an award for BIA and its been 7 1/2 months since anything new has been released.
On this page of the Gearbox Borderlands forum you can see the Ennui (the forums moderator) has posted a comment saying that the wait for new information shouldnt be too long. And that was posted on January 23rd. So, Gearbox is already up for an award, its a game developer's conference, they shouldn't have any other games releasing new information. So its a good time to release some new stuff right?

Ennui already shot me down
Maybe you guys will have better luck. I sent Ennui a message on the Gearbox forums introducing myself, telling her about the site, and seeing if maybe we could get an interview. She never wrote back. (Tear.)
As for releasing some info at the D.I.C.E. summit, it's certainly possible. It looks like a bunch of heavyweights will be there including a lot of press, so it would be a good place to release info and make a splash. Here's a schedule of speakers.
I'm not getting my hopes up too much though. Gearbox still hasn't updated the Borderlands official web site, even though they've been saying "full site coming soon" for over a year. Gearbox has a very unique interpretation of "soon."

Unique? Hardly. Isn't Duke Nukem Forever coming out soon? All right, I'm going to finish up the second video, clean up the folders so there aren't any duplicate files, then email you the files again.

Well theres the dice summit but then the actual Game Developers Conference that starts march 23rd.
But considering the Gearbox definition of soon that quote from ennui might just be null and void. Ive been checking the internet everyday for new stuff since the GI article almost two years ago. Getting frustrated for sure.

You want the Gearbox definition of soon? Here's one of the things an employee whipped up on the forums a few months back.
I made up a handy-dandy little chart in Excel to explain the concept of "soon". Soon lies somewhere between "Now" and "Eternity". Note that the Y axis of the chart goes from 0.0 to 1.0 for no particular reason at all.

At least it's not as bad as Huxley. Duke is worse but Huxley's getting there. It had a closed beta in korea only, there were English release dates and then around November it dropped off the face of the earth entirely. I have not heard one bit of news since then about it. At least with Borderlands we know it will come out at some point.
