soooooo.... anyone else look at this picture: http://www.borderlandsguide.com/image/hijacker ,and think: "that guy might be Roland, and that guy looks black".
not bein racist or anything im just saying that to make a larger crowd of people happy gear box might have included a girl and a black guy to not seem biased.
but anyone else think that this could be Roland?

well unless we have to save this guy from the bandits i dont see any other reason why this pic was taken or even exists. but evidence to the contrary is that if they intended this to be roland, why not show any more pictures of him?

edit: also the picture Boom! has him on foot. the camo pants and olive armor with a red star on it says look im Roland to me. this thread has no meaning now.

I just bought the PC Gamer mag yestertday, and funny you should mention Roland being black, cause he is. Not a problem, but judging from the one tiny picture of him, he looks younger, which is stupid...I want a retired Crimson Lance mercenary to look retired, not young. And when I say young I mean like 25-30.
Oh, something else I forgot to mention. It's not "Roland" it's "Rolland". They changed the spelling-that, or the magazine did.

Hmmmm.
i think that this tiny pic of new roland needs to join the internets.
EDIT: and is Roland now like... BLACK? or is he more like Roland Tembo from The Lost World Jurassic Park who was kinda but not but kinda...... but not at all black.... but just a little.....

hmmmm,
maybe an early concept. I think it looks more like a bandit though. The only thing separating the hijacker and the driver is that the hijacker doesn't appear to be on the bandit's team. Perhaps they originally meant Roland to be an ex-bandit.
