Second Gun Vendor In New Haven

Yeah, so i have a question...every once in awhile there is a door that opens across from the gun vendor machine in New Haven, and there is another gun vendor inside it. So i was wondering how to open it, is there a special way, is it random, or what? Any1 know anything about it? Thanks in advance

As far as I've noticed, it's random. I haven't noticed much of a pattern, other than it's always open during the day. Look above poster said, it may be based on the time.

I always thought it was on a timer, which I thought started once you left new haven/or used it last .. thought I read that somewhere :S

Well a gearbox dev said pearl was a glitch. Pearls are just glitched legendarys and poke maughan posted a huge thing on it.
However these shops do have very good items and are probably the best shops to find a legendary and are very often missed on "New Haven Farming Run" videos
So remeber to look at these shops if your farming

yeah, that's why i was
yeah, that's why i was wondering about it, it usually always has some really good weapons in it, i've bought rares out of it on quite a few occasions

As far as I've seen it's open when you
- were in New Haven and
- left to do some quest / looting in the surounding area and
- return during daytime.
And afair it's only open when you did the quest line from Marcus.

weird
it is pretty much always open for me when i go there... like only 1 time was it not open... seems like ive done all those things MisterPete said when i went there and the door was open to it

yea i thought it mite have some cool weapons but no its the same useless crap as every other vendor also does anyone know exactly how many chests there are in new haven

5 chests inside New Haven, 1
5 chests inside New Haven, 1 just outside next to the windsock, 2 in the hidden 'Christmas Story' room.
And the second vendor is just random. Sometimes it's open for me, and sometimes it's not.
Think its random might have to do with time of day but i really dont know
