Soldier Builds

Artillery Specialist - Infantry 25, Support 20, Medic 0

This build maxes out Roland's Scorpio turret, turning it into a highly dangerous gun.  It can quickly be redeployed, letting Roland's player activate it over and over to max out the damage it deals, or drop it in a different place when needed.  Besides the turret's firepower being optimized as much as possible, Roland also gets Impact and Metal Storm to allow him to add to the damage of Scorpio Turret.  Both skills are not specific to any weapon, letting Roland's player use whatever gun he desires.  The Scorpio Turret's supply capabilities are also maxed, letting Roland and his teammates fire away with little fear of running out of ammo.  This build does lack defensive abilities, forcing Roland to take cover as much as possible, especially when the turret shuts down (hopefully, the Supply Drop ability will also give health kits).  Refire can be replaced by weapon skills like Scattershot or Assault for even more damage, or by defensive skills like Aid Station, Defense and Fitness to make it a more well-rounded spec.

Shock Trooper - Infantry 15, Support 15, Medic 15

This lets Roland charge into combat with guns blazing and grenades flying.  While it does not improve his Scorpio Turret in any way, it also means Roland doesn't rely on it, allowing him to keep moving.  Roland's gun skills are maxed, making him a deadly shooter.  Several defensive skills allows him to stay in the thick of action with little fear for his safety.  The build's weakness is that it's very selfish, offering nothing for teammates.  Assault can be replaced by Scattershot for players prefereing shotguns, while Grenadier can be replaced by almost any skill as Roland's player sees fit, such as Stat for healing both himself and teammates.

Melee Hunter - Sniper 0,

Melee Hunter - Sniper 0, Rogue 25, Gunslinger 20

This is purely for fun, but it should be interesting if it works.  This build steers Mordecai away from his sniper rifle and pistols and focuses on his pet and sword.  While he doesn't have many skills that boost his melee, he also gets skills that heal him, namely Riotous Remedy and Out For Blood.  His Bloodwing also gets greatly boosted; Aerial Impact combined with Bird Of Prey allows you to Daze several targets at once so you can close in for the kill.  This build will mean playing Mordecai outside the familiar territory of a gunman.  Swipe can be replaced by Ransack.

Gunfighter - Sniper 5, Rogue 10, Gunslinger 30

For gunslinger fans.  This build maxes out Mordecai's pistoleer skills to its utmost.

Hunter Build

Hey guys, Soo stoked for this game, just pre-ordered from amazon! http://www.amazon.com/Borderlands-Xbox-360/dp/B000WMEEB2

One thing I found interesting was the ability to amp up accuracy, reload speed, and fire rate with ALL weapons.  So with that, I just had to go with 40% change of doubling  your damage with pistols (gun crazy = leet) heighthing your PvE, and PvP experience XD

I much rather prefered skills that didnt involve bloodwing, unless you really max out this build, doesnt really seem to useful with a 28 sec respawn (But maxing bird of prey, swift strike, predator, and aerial impact seemed extremly useful as a daze hunter).  But fast hands is a great skill to have,  so rather than having my bloodwing skill useless, I put 5 points into swipe trait, will help a bit, also annoying because it raids you inventory, and great for runners who are just screaming to be looted

Alot of skills seemed so appealing to me, but they only lasted a couple of seconds, what was kinda of downfall, but man were the buffs amazing! Had a hard time figuring out where my last point should go, so i just stuck it on relentless.  Fast hands was my other option and still may be, but just put into relentless for now becase of that 25% killing shot : )

Overall solid build, would need to tweak a few things if really wanting to go straight PvP, or straight PvE.

Thanks for the feedback! : )
