So today I, Leroy Biggs, a soldier, was making my way to this Vault crap (probably some new mall or other get-rich-quick scheme of Marcus's; that ass!) and was almost there, mincing my way through the snowy mountains of Eridian Telluride or Eridian Telemundo or Eridian TellMeAnotherOne or some such weird place. Its got all kinda glowing rocks, I figure laced with alien ciricuitry, or maybe its just how these things take a leak. Anyway, I get set upon by those very aliens, heard they was the Eridians, look like they're made of some kind origami'ed crystal. (They're probably just some crazy japanese robots! Those damn anime clubs have gotten outta hand!) I found they don't take kindly to Shock weapons much, and had found a few of their own weapons to boot, which they liked turned on themselves even less.

Oh, there were also companies of my ex-military units, the Crimson Tide, I mean, Lance. Buncha whack jobs! They been hunting me ever since I popped my nutjob deathwishing commander and lit outta there. Though I usually like to grease them with Acidic weaponry, I already had all these Shock weapons, and plus the Eridiian ones, and liked how the Eridian Thunderstorm took them down nicely. That's a sort of pistol thing what fires electro microspheroids of intense power, sorta like a shotgun.  Its also great for when those blade-swinging, or for that matter any E.T.'s or anything else, got too close, like most any shotgun.

But mainly, I was using something that literally fires lightning bolts, and was great for shooting down the E.T.'s that like to fly & especially hover way up high and yonder in the sky, while firing lord-knows-what (I figure a pulsed plasma beam of some kind) down at ya. Well, so I'm going around, trying to get more Proficient with these Eridian weapons, and fired a lighting bolt at one of the fliers, when all of a sudden my ECHO tells me I've completed some kind of Sniper Rifle challenge, or maybe it was a proficiency increase. I'm so tired after fighting these freaks all day I'm not sure, But I hadn't even been using any sniper rifles but every now and again, at most, to help take down those flying E.T,'s shields before I switched to the Lightning and sent them into freefall. But I only did that a few times.

Hmm, just had an idea. There's nothing that ain't special knowledge in this recording. I'm gonna release it over the ECHO network (which I -JUST- helped to restore to service; -You're welcome!-) and maybe someone else knows more about these Eridian gats. So here goes:

Does anyone know of any correlation between any of the Eridian weapons (that's the weird, alien guns you may've seen) and our use of standard firearms such as sniper and assault rifles, shotguns, and the like? Has anyone seen your ECHO unit post you a boost on the regular weapons, when you were using Eridian ones at the times? I didn't know f it was legit or some kinda glitch in the ECHO.

Please reply back along this channel and frequency, and any details you have would be most appreciated. I could even see my way to sending a few credits your way for your trouble. heh, I get plenty from selling the gear those clueless Crimson Flow, I mean Lance losers, drop everytime they come after me, and will no doubt try again after this broadcast,
