I have yet to play the game with anyone else.
I was waiting for a friend to buy it before I started over with anew character so I can have a balanced team.
Because of this I my gamercard says that by level 27, I had more than 8x as many kills/weapons than the people on my friendlist who play in 2-4 person teams. These people are <10 levels away from me also.
Do you share all experience gained from team play? (i.e.-missions, all kills, etc..)
Are the enemies made to be so strong or narrow minded that you're supposed to have 4 people?
By the time I fight a boss, I've done all the missions in the area.
As far as I know the Xp from missions is shared, me nd my brother played up to about level 16 together nd that was after fighting sledge, the enemies are scaled though so you will get more badass and higher level enemies, meaning youll get more xp.
Also killing enemies isnt shared completely, the person who gets the kills gets the majority of the xp... about 75% whilst the team mate gets the rest, this is why after the end of a 4 hour co-op play I was a level 16 and my brother was a lvl 15
Im not sure about challenge Xp I would assume that it isnt shared as they're character specific so only the player who completed the challenge e.g. kill 25 skags would get the xp =)
So in short:
XP is shared for all missions
Kill xp is given mostly to the killer and some to the team mates
Challenges arent shared at all unless both people complete at the same time e.g. a challenge where the plpayers are in a car together nd need 2 get certain air time =)
