Gearbox is a bunch of fucking THIEVES and CHEATERSS tbey stolen all my awsome gunz and left the useless CRAPP I feel so cheated by the makers of the game they call it 17 million somethin gunz and then they do something like this I WANT MY GUNS BACK!! Wondernoob was probably one of those kids with a bag full of modded weapons and didnt even want to see a weapon that didnt have 1000+ damage Xsomething retardedly high and unlimited ammo. But patrick is right it resets all of those xp points back to as if you had just dinged 50, which sucks cause I had over 400million xp.

I will freely admit that
I will freely admit that I used to use modded weapons (Most of which I made my self to avoid the maliciously modded items) But I saw this comming close to when Mad Moxxi was comming out then I got rid of all of my modded weapons except 1 (To level people up in promitory quickly) but I started farming in new haven and found some really amazing legit guns and I have never looked back

.. I am sorry to say WonderNoob but in all likelihood you are not alone in your dilemma. You see patch 1.3 has prevented the game engine from loading up any suspicious weapons and modified items, and let me tell you its very picky, and is inconsistent. I am investigating this.
(Certain light modifications are game permissable and load as normal on some weapons, I am currently doing a lot of testing with the new weapon check feature thats built in) - obviously there is some programming checksum that makes sure items are built correctly according to game legal spec, with all components in the right slots, legal parts and limits to accessories, makes and features.
Your guns are still in the save file however not showing up in the game, technically, the items are not 'deleted', its still in the code there on your save game. You can use Willowtree to try and modify the guns back to legal specs but this doesn't always work unfortunately for all reverse modifications. (Again, I am not sure why reverse engineering doesn't always work, beats me -- possibly something in the code that Willowtree is not picking up)
