Twisted guns

Okay so I was farming Crawmerax and I came across this pearl gun called the Twisted Bessie. It was better than my fearsome bessie but I have never heard of a twisted gun. I then found a twisted hellfire which was quite amazing. I can't remember the specs exactly but I do believe the bessie was
Dmg:1925
Acc:98.4
Rof:0.4
Has a 4 shot clip and the effects are
500% crit dmg
-2 clip size and something else I can't really remember but has anyone else ran across these "twisted" guns

Check the Gearbox Borderlands Forum to be updated on what a modder can do or not. Even an Anarchy Serpens had been reported, and we'll not talk about double name modded Pearlescent ;)

Gun name modifications.
Gun names can still be modified within game restrictions - the patch doesn't accurately and consistently identify modified items. There are certain limits in place which prevent most outlandish things, still. My information is based on facts rather then assumptions and hearsay.

I remember some weapons like that....
Fuzzy i remember a few weapons like that, that i came across in the trash coast, it was a crimson nidhogg the level of it is 31 and the dam 4520 i think, turns out it was some one elses, they came back for it and since it was modded i sold it.
this was before i got the 1.30 patch that prevents any changes to guns and items apart from names, although apparently you can creat weapons that are already in game like a double anarchy or matador shotguns.

You can still mod guns, you just cant put double parts/accessories, materials, and you can't mix manufacturers aside from titles and prefixes. Actually you can still mod them same as before, it just requires a lot more work.

ive seen a serpen,
ive seen a serpen, a nemesis, hellfire and a nidhogg with x5 before my friend was give them from his other friend.

how can u mod guns?
Those are hacked/modded weapons that other players are dropping in your game. There is no pearlescent weapon that comes with the prefix 'Twisted' that is generated in-game.
