Two MORE Secret Chests of New Haven...

Okay, the two chests I'm about to describe aren't QUITE the same as the 5 on the roofs, or the one just South of one chest under the tent and windsock.
No, the two OTHER chests are in a building just south of the Doctor, a small blue house with a mailbox in front of the door.
Notice how the door doesn't seem to be openable, with no red or green lock, but if you go up close to it (and supposedly have done some missions), the door opens when you bump into it, letting you into a small room.
The floor WILL start to fall downward, since it's an elevator, and there WILL be a few psychos down there.
Once you're done with the killing... ENJOY "The Christmas Story" Easter Egg, and your very own red Rider sniper rifle. Watch out. You'll put someone's eye out.
It's a 20 clip sniper rifle with a bonus to crit hits and no scope.

I got in there after I'd finished up beating the boss in the Trash Coast. I haven't done a ton of other missions though. But yeah, the door should slide open if you go to the door on the blue building. Hope that helps.

I can see this joke being funny if u were playing coop with someone and actually watched them try to get in, but why even post such malarkey ? The red rider bb gun was in fallout 3, try to be a bit more original.

I've beaten the game and are trying it by choosing to play my first playthrough and the door wont open. I've walked into it, ran into it, meleed it, shot it with my shotgun; the damn thing does not open.

I promise you, it's possible to get there, I just don't know how. Maybe you have to NOT have certain missions done.

According to the video, if you have obtained the quest "Another piece of the puzzle" you can get in there, but do NOT complete it, since you won't be able to get in there.
I personally like the lamp made from a boot.
So yes, it's real.

2nd Playthrough
While I'm kinda pissed I missed it already on my first (and I was actually checking for it but checked after that quest based on your initial description), I will be getting it on my 2nd playthrough. It's better that way anyway since named guns scaled up on the 2nd playthrough. Not that it's really worth having for the stats but it's nice to have the upgraded version lol.
