vehicle repair

while looking at thte screenshots from the giant web albums it dawned on me; what if u r in the middle of nowhere and your vehicle is ambushed by bandits, your vehicle is destroyed and now you are stranded. Do you have to reload a saved point or walk all the way back? This made me wonder how vehicles are repaired and how they are regained after being destroyed. Any ideas on how the vehicle stuff works?

from what i can recall it does have fast travel, i remember randy saying something, but dont take that for a 100% true fact, and also you could just kill some bandits and hijack their ride, this is muthaf**kin borderlands, this aint no barbies convertible breaks down simulation game where u gotta get a tow truck, ya dig?

But Barbies Convertible is my favorite game ever. Man I remember yesterday I had to drive to the mall and go shopping and it was so much fun I almost blew my brains out with my dads 8-gauge.

Okay, vehicle repair and breakdown would be cool to add, that way there'd be a whole scavnger element in the game BUT we don't know anything about that. I do have a thread called Borderlands2 tho, lol. If ojn October 20th there is stuff you think they missed, post your ideas there. Till then it's just a frustrating wait =(

from everything i have heard this is what i know, don't take me as 100% but im pretty sure this is how it works. There is vehicle Damage, and it can be destroyed, like coach said, if it was an ambush you can hijack anothers ride. Now since there is damage, there has to be a way to repair, im guessing that is one of the functions of the garage in addition with storage and vehicle customization. And yes there is fast travel, but that is from settlement to settlement, kind of like the fast travel in guild wars, or beam me down scotty in startrek. hope this helped.
ps. Tide, really? barbie convertable? i surely woulda thought the adventures of ken would be more your style haha :) jk

that was uncalled for... how could I possibly follow a guy who doesnt have a penis. Thats just wrong.
I don't recall them saying anything about it just that you can get a new one if the old one dies or whatever. And I will assume since the game has fast travel that you could simply fast travel to the nearest town.
Have you hugged a Basset Hound today?
