Vote For The Best RPG Shooter

No hiding it. We’re a partisan bunch. But we can’t quite crown Borderlands the greatest RPG shooter in the history of video games just yet. There’s the minor issue of Gearbox actually releasing a brilliant game first.
In the meantime, we’ve busied ourselves by debating the best existing RPG shooter. We’ve whittled it down to ten candidates for the honor. Now its time for a vote.
Here’s how it works. Below is a list of the ten best RPG shooters, as suggested by the Borderlands Guide community. Pick five. Rank them from 1st to 5th. We’ll use a preferential voting system. A first place vote counts as 10 points. A fifth place vote counts as 5 points. The title with the most points wins.
I would like to get at least 50 participants in this vote so please encourage people you know on other sites to participate. The vote will close on Sunday May 10th. I will announce the results not long after.
As for the criteria, vote for the games you feel combine the best of the two genres. Your top choice should be a great RPG and a great shooter.

I haven't played alot of
I haven't played alot of these. But I'll rank them anyway.
1 Bioshock - unique atmosphere, plasmids
2 Mass Effect - character developement, lost'o'dialogue
3 Fallout 3 - large, immersive world
(and now for games I have not played but I have heard good things about, feel free to exclude the following)
4 Deus Ex
5 System Shock

- 1# Too Human (dont know why people hated this game so much, the death animation wasnt that annoting, just needed bigger parties)

- 5# Bioshock (i wouldnt have voted for this if i had played any of the other ones, i hated this game)

3. BioShock - Plasmids
4. Fallout 3 - VATS
5. Deus Ex - Never played it just need a fifth.
