This is officially the first (as far as I can tell) thread about what weapons you are using in Borderlands. Tell of your best and coolest weapon drops, what you might have done to obtain them, and how they're working out in your favor.
And to prevent there from being as many threads like this as there are guns in the game, I DEMAND this be stickied.

First I have a roland
First I have a roland infantry build. My main weapon is the combat rifle. Best drop is the COBRA series of rifles. All have high Accuracy >94%, Fire Rate at least 10.0, >60 recoil red, >45% +Accuracy. I have about 6 of these at the moment, my best is the TCH Battle Cobra. with the cobras i can scope (1.4) and hit there head, and with the rapid burst fire (3in a row) i can get 2 sometimes 3 criticals. Match this up with by class mods and assault rifle skills and i am having no trouble, Plus i generate my own ammo.

Currently, I'm level 13 and I've found some pretty good guns so far. The only Purple I have found was the Bone Shredder, which I sold pretty quickly because it was useless to me. No oranges yet.
I found my first revolver not too long ago. It's a white, but it's pretty damn powerful.
Tediore DL10 Raw Revolver
Damage - 97
Accuracy - 83.9
Fire Rate - 1.5
Capacity - 6 rounds
It's come in handy so far.
I found a beast of a shotgun that I've been using since Level 7 that still kicks ass. It's a Green.
Jakobs SPR14 Terrible Scattergun
Damage - 28X11
Accuracy - 30.7
Fire rate - 0.4
Capacity - 6 rounds
It fires really slowly and it's incredibly innacurate (even though it has a scope) but it's absolutely devastating up close.

I've seen plenty of Purples
I've seen plenty of Purples (level 21). It seems that there are certain Quest specific guns i.e. Bone shredder, Elephant gun, etc. that Drop from specific mobs, but beyond that All guns that I have seen sold/dropped appear to be randomly generated.
Soldier - Medic
Anyway I'm using a Shock Combat Rifle / Explosive Sniper / Fire SMG With the Transfusion Healing grenades.

Hey OneKill what class are you using cause im lvl 11 roland and i found the bone crusher and it works well. Its says damage 11 but then x2 which i dont understand?

I'm Roland as well. But as I said, by the time I found the Bone Shredder, I already had one or two better SMGs and sold it almost immediately.
And the damage X2, means that the gun fires two rounds at once. So in the Bone Shredder's case of 11X2, each landed shot should do around 22 damage.
is the game even out?
