What we want Gearbox!

Developers keep saying, DLC will be community driven so we need to let them know what we want. I know there are several threads out there like this, but the more we we put the bigger the impact.

I personally would like to see 2 things in addition to more story and exploration.

1. A storage chest/locker. I'm tired of having to make a new mule character everytime my backpack fills up. Not a problem for PC gamers with 9999 backpack slots but playing on 360 i'm out of luck. What would be cool would maybe be a "vault" of our own like a cave with a big locking door so we can go dump all of our weapons. Maybe seperate halls for each weapon type and gun racks for our most valued even a shrine for the most rare gun in the game would be cool, a gun you get from claptrap after finishing all of the in game challenges.

2. An actual LOOT vault maybe something filled with skeletons of previous vault hunters and their bloodwings, plenty of money scattered about and in the back a large door that can only be opened by 4 level 50 characters, one of each class. Behind this door rare loot is falling from the sky, and you have 15 seconds to grab what you can and get out before being devoured by the destroyer's male counterpart, the annihilator.

I could probably go on for days, but feel free to add your own requests or comments, the more we say the more they listen.

...the hell would they put a

...the hell would they put a special 4-man loot pinata room in it for?  Doesn't that sound abit stupid to you?  What would stop people from just farming the hell out of that rather than, you know, going and actually playing the game for their rare weapons?  Isn't that the point, to play the game and then when you find a badass gun, you're ooo'd and awe'd at how rare it is, and not because you just grabbed it from the sky?

I'm all for a simple chest of sorts that holds our stuff, it doesn't need to be anything extravagant.  It could start at 10-slots, and say every upgrade you buy for it costs incrementally more.  We don't need anything outlandish, we just need something that is a shared 'vault' for all our characters to give and take from.  It could even be an added vending machine of sorts for all I care.

this certainly doesnt fall

this certainly doesnt fall under DLC, but something i think should be patched into the game is an option to 'hold' anything in your inventory, like how on a DVR you can hold a show so that it doesnt delete it no matter what unless you un-hold it. 1 button press could make a small icon come up next to the 'held' guns and if youre just at a vending machine mashing the button to sell everything these would instead pop up with a box reminding you its held and cannot be sold unless unheld. i know when im sitting there playing (possibly under certain influences that go well with hanging around gaming), i hate sitting in front of the vending machines trying to remember which that 1 gun was that i was holding for a buddy or for myself at a higher level, and i cant be the only one who has accidentally sold something without noticing until it was too late to buyback. the other way to attack this is how the inventory is handled in dragon age:origins,, where you can hit a button to move an item to the 'junk' category, which still takes up the same inventory space, but when you get to a vendor there is a 1-button approach of 'sell all junk', which does,,, you guessed it,,, automatically sell everything you've already deemed junk. of course you can not use it if you dont want to and sell each thing one at a time,, but i personally find it much easier micromanaging all the loot when youcan immediately do this when you pick it up,, instead of when you get to the vendor and need to then sort through 40 things to see if any of it is worth keeping.

What i want to see, and i

What i want to see, and i really thought it was going to be included in the game, is a storage space of your own, and really even a house or room in New Haven. I really think that should be the reward for killing the end boss, instead of o measly 200k or whatever, that girl with the scarred face (think her name was Pierce) should give you a permanent place in New Haven (since you are stuck on the god-forsaken planet)! Also, does anyone remember the trailer where Pierce is standing on a cliff and says "Youll need guns, lots of guns..." and a corridor with hundreds of guns in cases pops out? Well, i thought that was going to be your gun storage, and you could put your favorite ones out on display, and when you walked in the room, your guns would rotate out from the wall, for you and all your guests to see, but only you can take them. I really hope they put in like a 400 item shared locker, or at least 100 item locker per character, because i'm getting close to like 30 mules myself (more than 10 are gold guns)...

What I want is...

I think there should be some quests/missions that are random and repeatable. Nothin' extravagant just some bounty hunter ones or something similar, sorta like fable 2's quests. Make money the rewards with a few rare gun rewards too. seems like it would really stretch the fun.

And of course a bank/storage space of somesort.

I would like to see a

I would like to see a playthrough 3 implimented with creatures 50+ even with the level cap the way it is.  A playthrough for those that want a crazy solo challenge or a hard group challenge.

Perhaps a way to reset the side quests so they can be redone on a character that is finished.  Or at least the idea that was already posted about random quests, simple kill 10 of these, bring this here would suffice (Hell, WoW makes its bread and butter on this kind of dart board quest idea).

I still like the idea of

I still like the idea of doing a side quest and earning a home somewhere like new haven  and from there buying decorations and a storage place pretty much like fallout 3

AN ACTUALLY HARD BOSS!!!

AN ACTUALLY HARD BOSS!!! Something with huge amounts of hp, something you COULDNT take on by yourself, you would need 4 players just to put a dent into it. Something that will baffle us on how to beat, but when its finally beaten, you get an increadibly rare and epicly powerful eridian weapon. WE WERE PROMISED THAT ERIDIAN WEAPONS WOULD OWN!!! Thats what I wanna see.

Edit: also, a trade system, fix duplication.

LOL @ storage rooms

Who needs lockers when theres vladoff's massive stop and store...

you will be served with vladof's biggest empty space

just drop ur items any where you like and you can continue on ur journey...

and it gets better, this service is free of charge...

P.S. just remember to pick your items up after every 30 seconds...

*No garantee that you'll get your item bak

lol, but seriously i would want...

i would like a sequel with some of the things that road surfer said but not really on the storage room

i wouldnt really give a rat's arse about storage space. use wats best and choose between which are for frequent ocassions. like i like to save a set of  maximum 4 corrosive weps for them crimson lances. and another set of eridian weps. dont keep everything. use wat u feel comfortable with. and sell the rest for some mula- mula. =D

next i would want another 87 bajillion items in this game. this time, i want them to be armour pieces. or at least outfits. i hate how every brick i meet is the same as me. i like to stick out.

You know what else would be kinda kool and feasible as a dlc, a new character to add on to the story. like a playable one. or like maybe make a new feature when on the bus in the beginning, you have the choice of the computer picking for you, and you have a slight chance of getting a mysterious new character.

then i would also like harder bossess, or at least more bosses.

I remember that.
That trailer is what made me think of this. All those guns put away so nice and neat.
