Hi, I know this has no relevenace, but mind doing coop with me on live? my gamertag is inzanegunz
Would love to inzane, but i dont have Xbox live. I have an absolutly shit internet connection, that im lucky to get working slowly, let alone fast enough for live. Sorry mate
Go with the glorious massacre. I had to use a shattering machinegun for a while, and it was a pain. Then I found two very nice Massacres, their accuracy and high fire-rate make up for the lower damage, since you're putting more shots in your target at a longer distance.(A skag shot at max range, 90% of the bullets hitting him, as opposed to having to walk up on the skag and hope your inaccurate rifle lands it's shots.)
Always factor in good accuracy and refire with the possible damage. Longer range and more bullets hitting their mark at a faster rate is pretty much always better than the spray and pray at close-range.(This is expecially true for the second playthrough, when you can get chewed apart up-close in groups and the added range helps you survive and use cover. Those critital hits are alot more important when the mobs are tougher.)
Never use an machine gun with less than 6 rof. Its just painful. And the lack of accuracy become alot more important when spraying fire up close, and you realize the crosshairs cover the entire screen, and you ain't hittin shit, and die.
I would definately go for gun # 2
i think that speed > dmg i mean if u would want a slow but strong gun why not get a sniper.
I found a Hyperion sub-machine gun that is a killer. 93% accuracy, 2 power zoom, 14 rof, 84 x 2 dmg, no elemental, 46 rds ammo. Thats 2,352 dmg per second and 7,714.5 dmg in one magazine. I even use it to snipe with at long range. The way I decide to keep or sell a gun is to shoot it first. I will find a safe place to target practice, pick out a target, usually a spot on the side of a building and check to see where the rounds are hitting. All my weapons go thru this, pistols, shotguns, rifles etc. Find the combo that works best for you. Carry something first to drop their shields, then something thats accurate with a hight rate of fire to blast them, they drop like flies. Some people like it up close with shotguns or machine pistols, some don't.

This depends entirely on your play style. If you like to be fairly close range, i would recomend option 1, as it has increased damage at the cost of reduced accuracy. If you prefer to stay back a little bit more, i suggest option 2, as it is both more accurate and has a faster ROF. In my opinion, accuracy is most important, but it all depends on your style and preferences. Experiment, thats the whole point of putting in millions of guns.
