Our community hit a milestone today. DC Anscombe became our 500th registered user. I will be distributing party hats to everybody this afternoon. Can somebody pick up a pinata?

Aaawwww I remember when I was

Aaawwww I remember when I was surfing the net looking for borderlands info and I found this site, I was in love with it the first second I saw it. Thanks to everyone in the bg community for all the amzing work. Can't wait till the game comes out!!!!

I was always scouring the net for scraps of info on borderlands (among several dozen of things I regularly keep tabs on), so this site was a VERY nice bit of help, considering I don't have to do any scouring, just refresh every so often. =)
The community on here is rather pleasant, and it's fun seeing intellectual discussion on what the games going to be like, and what different approaches are to things.

My only hopes for this site is that if the media-storm that'll eventually hit Borderlands doesn't have a couple thousand people logging onto the site and yelling obscenities, etc. The whole "internet backlash" of jerks that usually happen to popular objects.

 I will say at the least, I'll remember some of the Original forum members, and I'm definitely gonna miss ya guys if the site is swarmed.

Until then, lets keep the site alive and fruitful!

Friggin niiiiiice. Congrats to not just bg.com but also everyone whose been posting and adding great content. As you can tell I'm new to posting on the site but I've been glued to my screen since it first launched. Like Shirowshadow said it's gonna suck if we start gettin the annoying trolls and crazies posting but I guess at least that means the game is selling. Either way it's been a refreshing change of pace to see forum conversations that don't end with people damning each other to hell for what console they play or some other ridiculous thing. Here's to keepin it that way til long after Borderlands hits shelves!
