zombie brains

sorry to make a thread for this but didnt know where else to ask it.
i just downloaded zombie island pack and it rocks.
the question is what are the zombie brains for ? almost every time i kill a zombie they leave their brains to pick up. do you collect them for a specific reason like do you turn them in for special stuff or what are they for exactly ?

The brains are for a quest
The brains are for a quest line within the DLC1. you obtain the quest from an "old friend" in the zone Hallow's End. you get the brains by killing the zombies with a crit head shot

where do i look to see how
where does it say how many brains i have ?
and is there no point in collecting them till i get that quest ?

there is no point in collecting
there is no point in collecting them until u get the quest as it won't really give u them until u have the quest and there are about 5 brain quests before u get the achievement.

Do it as you start the game so that it's not a pain to do it at the end cause they go like 10, 50, 100, 200 if I remember. Yeah just take what you need cause they'll stay on the map and you'll be happy to have them right on the Floor when you'll be doing the next Brain Quest ;)

I'm pretty sure they go in 10, 15, 25, 50*, 100, 250.
*I'm not entirely sure there is a 50 quest, but I think there is
the best way is until you get the quest, critical kill every zombie and leave the brain lying there. as long as you don't exit the game it will stay there and you can just pick it up when you need it.
if u ever find zombie tk baha u turn the brains in for items he barfs up after he eats them if u have xbox 360 u can get an achievement for it called Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaainssss...
