Borderlands By October '09

Quarterly conference calls, what would we do without you? Borderlands publisher Take Two indicated on one yesterday it will release Borderlands during its next fiscal year, which ends October 31st. That's a long way off but welcome news considering the speculation the game wouldn't be ready until 2010.

From the conference call transcript posted on Seeking Alpha:

Looking ahead we’re building a strong lineup for fiscal 2009...2K’s key AAA titles will include Borderland, Mafia 2, BioShock 2, Champions Online, and a full roster of sports titles.

One aside, you would think Take Two could have got the name right. It's Borderlands people. (Thanks to MCV for spotting this.)
