Borderlands Shortages
Borderlands reportedly can't be found on some store shelves. If this serious unbalance continues we predict scenes like this at your local GameStop very soon.
Gearbox says they're upping production to prevent the imminent rioting and extra copies should be hitting shelves as we speak. Did anybody have trouble getting a copy of the game?

haha, I like the tags lol. I hope they have enough copies for the pc version though, which I'm getting it for. Gamecrazy should have enough for preorders, right? And I heard that gamestop is releasing borderlands on the 23rd aka today. Does gamecrazy hopefully get this benefit?
I got my ps3 copy on the 20th. PC version comes out on the 26th. Is gamestop getting the PC version earlier than everybody else [23rd]? I had trouble getting my ps3 copy as I did not preorder it. The first store I went to had one copy left but a guy in front of me said he had one reserved at that store. The store said everybody they had on the list had picked theirs up. I am assuming he bought the game anyways. I just decided to leave and go to Target. They didn't have the game at all. The guy said he didn't think they were even put out. So I went to Fry's Electronics and they wont be getting any versions of the game until the 28th. Went to yet another gamestop and they had 3 copies left. 2 of which were display copies. So I bought one for me and one for my brother. A day later I have a buddy that wanted a copy too. Called best buy and they had one copy left as well. This game is FLYING of the shelves!
Yeah, I went last night, and had to go to two different stores, at the second one they had one used ps3 copy, and I was like EH, cause I hate getting used,but I decided to, and had a marathon through the night, level 19 lilith :)
A friend of mine preordered the game from play.com (we are in UK) a while ago and became very excitable when he checked the site abd saw that the game was supposedly made available a day early on the 22nd. It didn't arrive then, it hasn't arrived today but hopefully will arrive tomorrow. Not sure if Royal Mail or not, but this would explain the problem as they are currently on strike. I ordered the game today, so hopefully they will both arrive tomorrow for some epic xbox live co-op action. I'm not getting my hopes up.
This happened to two of my friends lol but about one went to target and they had tons of them. lol i was able to get halo 3 the day it came out at a target when 2 other gamestops were completely sold out
Haha, yeah. I was at Target and I saw a ton of copies of the 360 and PS3 versions, though it doesn't matter because I'm getting the PC version
I randomly went into a gamestop not realizing that almost every other store around had run out of copies. I Asked for one, and the kid who walked in behind me yelled "NOOOOO!" I guess he just called and the guy said there was only one left. Luckly for him I was buying the xbox version, and he was getting the PC version. Either way they were both the last copies of each version.
Well I work at Gamestop and i know the game went fast but i got mine no problem.. but i didnt have it preordered i had Dragon Age Pre Ordered and payed off but hearing from my co-workers on the ps3 said it was awesome so i got it for PC Love the game Absloutly EPIC!!!
